Our new church logo includes this verbiage: “Centered on Christ, Embraced by His Vision.” Great words! Great question: Are we? One component of our vision is: Growing God’s Kingdom. This Sunday Chris and Donna Keeter will join us for worship to describe the great work God is doing in Honduras. He is growing His kingdom! We have the opportunity to join Him. Will these remain just words or will they become the way of life for Central Baptist Church: “centered on Christ, embraced by His vision?”

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Be prepared on Sunday – bring God’s Word and your friends, and pray for us to demonstrate with our actions that we are centered on Christ and embraced by His vision!

I just wanted to share with you all that I went to one of my Bakersville schools today and someone stopped me and said “Tell me what is going on at your church… what is CRAZY LOVE?”. I was so excited to share what is going on at Central and to tell her about the Bible Study, show her my book, and tell her how to get to the information on the website. This particular person has a church of her own, but the cool part is that she noticed that something was going on…and if she noticed, other people are noticing too! Let’s keep knowing, showing, and growing! Love you all… Meredith
Something is going on at Central. God is up to something! It’s crazy! Crazy Love, C.A.R.E., W.O.W., Revival, Honduras. His love for us is crazy. Our love for Him is crazy. We are just a bunch of crazies! Praise God!
